Global Power Components is a privately held, growing manufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures and modular metal enclosures for housing fully-equipped electrical distribution and control equipment. Position Overview: Reporting to the Controller and Accounting Manager, the Accounts Receivable & Billing Specialist will play a pivotal part in customer onboarding, maintaining project milestones, and cash flow collections.
This is a high-impact position, created in response to our growth and the need for sustaining a professional and organized accounts receivable process.
Key Responsibilities:
Communicate with customers via email and phone in a consistent and effective manner
Setup and onboard customers, including maintaining credit applications
Create billing schedules according to project milestones
Build process improvements on current operating procedures and within ERP system
Provide billing analysis on jobs
Coordinate internally with project managers and sales employees
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Manufacturing or construction experience preferred
Understanding of job costing and financial reporting principles
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
