Tool Crib Attendant
Milwaukee, WI · ManufacturingGlobal Power Components is a privately held, growing manufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures and modular metal enclosures for housing fully equipped electrical distribution and control equipment.
We are seeking a 1st Shift Tool Crib Attendant who is dedicated, detail orientated and who wants stable consistent hours where OT is always available. We have no shortage of work at Global Power Components
Global Power produces weld assemblies, fabricated metal buildings, and large complex assemblies of power equipment. The inventory control specialist is responsible for maintaining inventory control processes on the manufacturing floor. The ideal candidate will work closely with production, supply chain, and engineering to ensure a streamlined inventory system.

Responsibilities:
- Issue tools, production materials, and consumables in accordance with GPC standard procedures
- Organize, track, and maintain inventory within assigned areas; investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Move materials to and from designated locations
- Collaborate with the Purchasing department and vendors to ensure adequate stock levels
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in assigned areas
Requirements:
- Must be able to read measuring devices, such as tape measures
- Ability to read bill of material
- Ability to use computer and ERP software
- Able to troubleshoot and problem solve
- Must be highly motivated
- Able to communicate and work well with others
- Pay attention to details and have a strong drive to succeed
- Must pass competency test and pre-employment physical including drug screen
