Global Power Components is a privately held, growing manufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures and modular metal enclosures for housing fully equipped electrical distribution and control equipment.
We have recently moved operations into a newly renovated 300,000 sq. foot facility that will foster our continued growth as we continue to be recognized as the undisputed leaders in our industry.
As a result of our expansion, we are looking for a BilingualTraining Coordinator to join our growing team. Responsibilities
Work with HR & safety team that aids in the identification and resolution of issues or areas of improvement, training of employees, and overall awareness of everyday safety
Assist in tracking and following up on all accidents and near miss reports to prevent any future incidents
Improve safety awareness for employees through weekly supervisor lead safety discussions tracking employees’ attendance
Conduct new hire orientations
Follow up on all safety related work orders or improvements to make sure progress is being made
Train classroom & practical work cell
Forklift, scissor Lift & crane training
New hire safety training
Identify training needs and implement employee training programs
Monitor working procedures for safety and training related issues and improvements
Assist with on-the-job training in organizing procedures, coordinating trainer/trainee interaction and tracking
Injury reporting and investigations
Qualifications
Knowledge of safety and HR training practices
Ability to work independently and be self-directed
Requires excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent computer skills in Excel, Word and Outlook
Ability to Commute
Must be fluent in English and Spanish
